Breast Friends Fun Run raises more than £36000 over 7 years

In December the Rotary Club of Solihull presented Breast Friends with a cheque for £6000 which was the amount collected in sponsorship by our participants and supporters in September's Fun Run. A further £1000 was collected in the buckets from donations and cake sales. Our sincere thanks to everyone for your constant support.

This £7000 added to the amounts raised in previous Fun Runs takes us to a grand total of over £36000!

The 2012 Fun Run will take place on Sunday 23rd September so don't forget to put it in your diary!

Night at the Races

What a fantastic evening we spent at Solihull Sixth Form College at the Derby Night organised by Maxine White and her excellent A2 Leisure Studies students. The fish and chip supper went down a treat as we cheered our horses on and by the end of the night they had raised a magnificent sum of £1100 for our charity.

Dancers support Breast Friends

Breast Friends thanks Harlequin School of Dance for their donation of £200. The pupils chose the charities they wished to support on the night of their dance show. One pupil chose a row and another chose a seat number, then the person sitting in that seat chose the charity the money was to go to.

Ask people to donate a promise of their time, belongings or a gift & auction them.
