Penny raises £s

At the end of last year Breast Friends' member Penny Conlon and her family and friends were looking forward to a party she had planned to celebrate the end of a gruelling course of breast cancer treatment.  However Penny's husband Paul was taken seriously ill with pneumonia and the party had to be postponed.  Paul has now made a full recovery and they decided that now was the time to throw that delayed party.  They chose a pink theme and raised a massive £720 which was matched £-4-£ by Penny's employer bringing the total raised to £1440 which Penny is donating to Breast Friends Solihull.  Our sincere thanks to both Penny, her family and friends and to Barclays Bank plc.
