Support for NHS Patients

If you or a member of your family were treated by Ian Paterson in the NHS and are concerned about any aspect of your care, please contact the confidential patient services support line to speak with one of our specialist advisors on 0121 424 0808

The patient services support line operates from 09:00 – 17:00 (Monday – Friday) with a message facility for out-of-hours queries. All messages will be responded to within one working day.

For independent support, please contact Gillian Waterhouse who has been providing one to one support for a number of patients and their families.

Breast Prostheses and Bra Fitting

All NHS breast cancer patients are typically offered a breast prosthesis every two years at no cost. Yours may have become worn or damaged or may no longer fit as you have changed shape. A prosthesis prior to reconstruction is also a welcome option.

Wigs and Hair Piece Services

Once you are told that hair loss will be a side effect of your cancer treatment your local Breast Clinic will give you guidance and support on availability in your area. Most will invite in specialist companies to advise, fit and support.
